Twenty-nine sites from five states were recruited for the study, with more than 500 clinics. Eight started data collection before the study was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. |
The project was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the early collection found that it is feasible for clinicians to collect patient-level activity data in non-admitted settings using a mobile and/ or desktop apps, once privacy, security and confidentiality concerns were overcome and the apps were tailored to suit each clinic and their workflows. The early collection also provided data that can be analysed to further refine the data collection approaches, particularly the presenting condition and interventions shortlists for non-admitted care that were piloted in the study.
